Namita Goswami is widow of the deceased. By judgment of this Court, a sum of Rs.15,10,000/- has been awarded in her favour along with interest @ 9% per annum.

Since the appeal has been disposed of and the claimant is aged about 33 years, it is directed that out of the deposited amount, a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five lakhs) be released in her favour by remitting it to his Bank account details whereof along with photocopy of the first page of the passbook be submitted in the Registry of this Court within 2 (two) weeks from today.

The balance amount shall be kept in a fixed deposit and the interest accruing on the fixed deposit shall be paid on quarterly basis to her to meet her day to day expenses. The claimant is, however, at liberty to move further application for release of the amount if needed for any specific purpose.

The application is accordingly disposed of.
