The trial was directed to be completed by 31/03/2016. Apparently, the co-accused is still absconding while the accused-petitioner who moved this Court earlier appeared before this Court for the first time only on 16/05/2016.

As there is sufficient ground which prevented the learned Magistrate from completing the trial in time, his prayer is granted. The trial will be completed by him within 6 months i.e. till 17/01/2017. The petition stands disposed of.
