This is an application for withdrawal of the awarded amount deposited by the insurance company. The applicant is a widow and as per the law laid by the Apex Court this Court normally does not release the amounts.

On 19th August, 2014 while passing the judgment in appeal it was made clear that a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- would be released in favour of the widow and the balance amount would be kept in a fixed deposit for 5(five) years. If despite that she has entered into some agreement to purchase property, this Court cannot help her. Therefore, the application is rejected.
