Case No :AB 0000148/2015 Party Name : SATYAJIT GHOSH & ANR Vs THE STATE OF TRIPURA HONBLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE DEEPAK GUPTA This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail filed by the accused-applicants, (Sri Satyajit Ghosh and Sri Bikram Banik) in respect of West Agartala Police Station Case No. 2015 WAG 155 registered under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code. It would be pertinent to mention that another co-accused, Sri Bhola Saha @ Asish Saha have also filed a petition for grant of the anticipatory bail and on 18.11.2015 the Investigating Officer had informed that the informant-complainant who is an advocate had filed a petition before the Investigating Officer that he had settled the matter with the accused.

In this view of the matter, the prayer for anticipatory bail is granted and it is directed that in the event of arrest of the accused-applicants, namely, Sri Satyajit Ghosh and Sri Bikram Banik in connection with West Agartala P.S. Case No.2015 WAG 155 under Section 394 of the IPC, they shall be released on furnishing a bail bond of Rs.30,000 (rupees thirty thousand) each supported by one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority, subject to the condition that the accused-applicants shall not leave their place of residence as recorded in this application without permission of this Court. Apart that, they shall not try to induce any person to dissuade them from revealing the truth to the Investigating Officer.
