None appears for the respondent despite due notice from this court. This is a petition for condoning the delay of 147 days in filing the petition for granting the leave in preferring the appeal against the order of acquittal dated 24.04.2014, delivered in S.T.11(ST/S)/2014 by the Sessions Judge, South Tripura, Udaipur, acquitting the respondent from the charge under Section 376(1) of the IPC. The reasons assigned in paragraph 2 of this petition constitute grounds for condoning the delay and since there is no opposition from the respondent, this court is inclined to condone the delay.
