This is a petition under Section 5 of the Limitation Act for condoning the delay of 227 days in preferring the appeal under Section 374(2) of the Cr.P.C. against the judgment and order dated 18.03.2014 whereby the petitioner has been convicted and sentenced under Section 498(A) of the IPC.

The causes as assigned in this petition are sufficient for condoning the delay. Moreover, the learned counsel appearing for the State has not raised any objection against such prayer. Having situated thus, the prayer for condoning the delay stands allowed paving the way for presenting the criminal appeal being Crl. A. (J) No.49 of 2014.
