The records of the case reflect that the representation which was furnished before the police authorities were on 16.10.2023. It is also reflected from the contents of the representation that a civil suit being TS 261 of 2017 is pending before the learned Civil Judge (Sr. Divn.), Uluberia.

Having regard to the nature of the information which was furnished to the

police authorities, I am of the view that since the Civil Court is already in seisin of the issue, the police authorities have hardly any role to exert so far as the subject-matter of the information is concerned.

If the petitioner is faced with any inconveniences, he would approach the police authorities with a fresh representation and the police authorities would act in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 4 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
