Considering the nature of the prayer made by the petitioner, the service of copy of the application upon the opposite party is dispensed with.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant application being CRR 32 of 2026 is hereby disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to make appropriate application before the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Haldia seeking reconstruction of the record, if the record is lost or destroyed. In the event of making such prayer, the court below will take appropriate action in accordance with rules to dispose of the issue, preferably within a period of three months thereafter. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, duly applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
