Seen the office report dated August 24, 2021, wherefrom it appears that notice of appeal has been served upon the respondent nos. 1(1) and 1(2) and the administrative notice issued to respondent no. 2 could not be served despite several attempts. Paper Book was filed long back on March 17, 1989, thereafter no steps have been taken by the appellants to get the appeal disposed of.

The circumstances indicate that the appellants have lost their interest to proceed with the appeal.

Therefore, S.A. 666 of 1960 is dismissed for default.

There shall be no order for costs.

Department is directed to send down the Lower Court Records immediately to the concerned Court below.
