The petitioner is aggrieved that Baranagar Police Station, Barrackpore Police Commissionerate has not taken any steps in respect of a complaint sent on 28th November, 2022.

A reading of the said complaint indicates that the incidents complained of took place mostly in Bangalore.

The private respondent is represented.

It is submitted that an FIR being No.6 of 2020 under Sections 354(D), 507 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 67 of the Income Tax Act has already been registered by Kadugodi Police Station, Bengaluru Rural District.

The petitioner may lodge a complaint with the police at the place of occurrence of the incident complained of in her complaint.

The report of the Inspector-in-charge, Baranagar Police Station, Barrackpore Police Commissionerate dated 22nd March, 2023 be taken on record.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
