According to one circular issued by the Government of West Bengal dated 22.09.2021, it has been stated that in the event a single subject teacher makes application for transfer, the SMC will not reject the application and will inform the DI(SE) about such application and then the DI(SE) will take steps in this regard.

In this matter, the school has not complied with this Government Order dated 22.09.2021.

Hence, I direct the school to send the application of the petitioner to the District Inspector of Schools for taking decision following this circular

dated 22.09.2021. This is to be considered by three weeks from the date of communication of this order. With this direction and observation, this matter is disposed of.
