Anupam Mahalanabish v. Union Of India And ORS.
January 15, 2026 Sl. No.44 Court No.1 s.biswas WPCT 10 of 2026 Anupam Mahalanabish vs.
Union of India and others Mr. Atindranath Misra ... for the petitioner Per, Partha Sarathi Sen, J.
1. At the time of hearing, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner at the very outset draws our attention to the various orders as passed by the Tribunal in connection with O.A. 444 of 2023.
2. It is submitted that on a number of occasion the matter has been adjourned and as such the writ petitioner was compelled to approach this court by filing the instant writ petition with the prayer for issuance of appropriate direction upon the Central Administrative Tribunal (hereinafter 'the Tribunal', in short) for expeditious disposal of the said original application.
3. We have meticulously gone through the entire materials as placed before us including the order dated 04.11.2025 as passed by the said Tribunal in the said original application.
4. We have noticed that by an order dated 04.11.2025, the said Tribunal allowed the writ petitioner's/original applicant's application being MA 350/0740/2024 for early hearing, on being
satisfied with the ground therein and thus posted the matter for final hearing on 21.11.2025.
5. We have further noticed that on 21.11.2025, the Division Bench was not available in the said Tribunal, which is why the original application was fixed on 13.02.2026 under the heading 'For Hearing'.
6. We are confident that when the said Tribunal was satisfied that an early hearing is required to be done in connection with O.A. 444 of 2023 as is evident from the order dated 21.11.2025, there is no further requirement to pass any direction upon the said Tribunal, as prayed for.
7. With the aforementioned observation, the instant writ petition is disposed of.
8. Liberty is given to the petitioner to communicate this order to the respondents.
