Pursuant to the rule, all the alleged contemnors are personally present in Court.

The College presently has no Principal. The Teacher-in-charge has filed an affidavit being the Head of the Institution admitting delay and laches on his part to comply with our order due to Covid-19 Pandemic. The Principal of the College retired during the Pandemic situation and the deponent to this affidavit after assuming charge appears to have taken steps to implement our order. The Resolution of the Governing Body of the College dated 27th April, 2022 is annexed to the affidavit of compliance.

In view of the disposal of the representation by the Governing Body on 27th April, 2022, the delayed compliance of our order is accepted. The unconditional apology tendered by each of the contemnors present in Court is accepted.

The rule stands discharged and the contempt proceeding is dropped.

Accordingly, the contempt petition being CRC 4 of 2022 stands disposed of.
