1. The petitioner says that investigation is complete. The allegations are false. He had no role to play in the alleged offence of dacoity. He is in custody for 232 days. He prays for bail.

2. Learned APP draws our attention to the material in the case diary. We see that the stolen booty was recovered from the house of this petitioner. Apparently, the victim, a goldsmith, was intercepted when he was returning home with gold ornaments. He was assaulted and the ornaments were stolen from him. The gold ornaments have been identified by the victim in Test Identification Parade.

3. In view of the very serious allegation of dacoity and prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the alleged crime and considering that charge is yet to be framed, we are not inclined to entertain the petitioner's prayer for bail, at this stage.

4. CRM (DB) 78 of 2025 is dismissed.
