1. The petitioner in the instant case has challenged, inter alia, the Notification dated 4.12.2024 issued by the Department of Food and Supply, Government Of West Bengal for filling up the vacancy vide ID No. 202200220413 of FPS dealership under the West Bengal Targated Public Distribution System (Maintenance & Control) Order, 2024 in respect of Sarangram Primary School, DistDakshin Dinajpur.

Suman Sengupta, learned Senior Government Advocate appearing for the State submits that the said notification has

already been cancelled and has lost its force by dint of another notification dated 23.12.2025.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition has become infructuous in the light of the notification dated 23.12.2025.

4. The writ petition being WPA 255 of 2026 stands disposed of, without going into the merits of the case.

5. Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished expeditiously.
