Petitioners pray for anticipatory bail.

CRM(A) 16 of 2024 is dismissed as not pressed so far as the petitioner nos.1, 3 to 5 are concerned as the chargesheet filed against them is only with respect to Sections 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Police filed charge-sheet, inter alia, under Sections 498A/307 of the Indian Penal Code against the petitioner no.2.

Considering the age of the petitioner no.2 and considering the fact that the police filed charge-sheet, we grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner no.2. Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest the petitioner no.2 shall be released on bail upon furnishing a

bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only), with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and on condition that the petitioner no.2 shall appear on every date before the jurisdictional court on and from the date fixed for appearance of the accused and in default, the jurisdictional court will pass appropriate order to secure the presence of the petitioner no.2 in court including cancelling the anticipatory bail granted without further reference to this Court.

The prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner no.2 is, thus, allowed.

CRM(A) 16 of 2024 is disposed of.
