However, learned counsel for the CESC Limited points out that an objection has been raised by the CESC Limited, as evident from Annexure P-4 at page 21 of the writ petition, regarding alleged splitting of load being sought to be obtained by the petitioner. Since, under the relevant law and regulations, the appropriate forum for redressal of such grievance regarding splitting of load is the Grievance Redressal Officer, W.P.A. No. 76 of 2021 is dismissed, with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Grievance Redressal Officer on the same issues as canvassed before this Court.

If so approached, the Grievance Redressal Officer shall decide the issue upon hearing both sides, in accordance with law, without being unduly influenced by any of the observations made herein, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within four weeks from date.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
