Apprehending arrest in connection with Saktipur P.S. Case No. 120 of 2020 dated 12.09.2020 (G.R. No. 3132 of 2020) under Sections 498A/304B/302/120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code, the petitioner has filed the present application.

The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the criminal proceedings. Upon completion of investigation, charge-sheet has also been filed on 06.12.2020. The learned advocate appearing for the State submits that there are incriminating materials against the petitioner.

Having heard the learned advocates and upon considering the materials in the case diary and the extent of complicity of the petitioner in the alleged offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail in favour of the petitioner. In view thereof, the application for anticipatory bail, being CRM 59 of 2021 is dismissed.
