On consideration of the report filed by the Registrar Administration (L & OM) dated 9th January, 2023 which inter alia discloses that the appellant expired few years ago and a report to that effect has been received by the Registrar mentioned in Flag-H, a communication from the Prodhan, Aranghata Gram Panchayat dated 7th January, 2023.

Having regard to the fact that no attempt has been made to substitute the legal heirs of the said deceased.

The appeal stands abated.

In view thereof the appeal stands dismissed.

Interim orders, if therebe any, also stand dismissed.

However, there shall be no order as to costs.
