It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that they have completed with all necessary formalities including building of the meter room and boring of the well as so required by the respondent no. 4. On behalf of the WBSEDCL, it is submitted that they have no instructions as to whether the petitioner has complied with all necessary statutory formalities.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the parties, WPA 237 of 2026 stands disposed of by directing the respondent WBSEDCL to provide an electricity connection to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the communication of this order, subject to the petitioner complying with all necessary statutory formalities.
