This writ petition has been filed seeking direction on the respondent State Authorities to take steps for demolition of unauthorized construction over the Government land.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State respondents hands up to Court a copy of the instructions dated January 20,2026 forwarded to him by the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Pataspur-1, Purba Medinipur and submits that the unauthorized encroachment complained of has already been removed. Copy of the said instruction handed up to Court today by the learned Advocate for the State is taken on record.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners agrees with such submission and

submits that the petitioners' grievances have been redressed.

In such view of the matter nothing survives to be decided in the present writ petition. WPA 226 of 2026 stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
