Ms. Paromita Malakar ... for the State-respondent(s) Re The petitioner has approached this court being aggrieved on the issue that Sankrail Police Station did not act on the representation dated 23rd November, 2023.

The basic accusation was that the private represents were illegally preventing the petitioner from selling his own property.

As none appears on behalf of the State, Mr.

Jayanta Samanta, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State is directed to represent the State. Mr. Samanta is entitled to have a junior of his choice. The appointment of both Mr. Samanta and the junior of his

choice, if any, be regularized by the concerned authorities.

Having considered that substantial time has passed since the representation was furnished before the police authorities, I direct that, in case, the situation so persists, the petitioner will file a fresh representation with the concerned police station, the concerned police station will consider such representation in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 120 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
