Petitioner submits there is a dispute between co-sharers of a property. A number of litigations are pending between the parties. Allegation of throwing deleterious substance in the eye is false. No permanent damage to the eye is noted. Accordingly, she prays for anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Litigations are pending by and between the parties. During hearing of one of the cases, it is alleged petitioner had sprinkled liquid substance in the eye of the de-facto complainant. De-facto complainant is also a lawyer of the court. However, medical reports do not show serious damage to the eye. Incident had occurred on the spur of the moment and in an impulsive manner.

In the light of the aforesaid circumstances, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner viz., Miss Aparajita Biswas be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS and on further condition petitioners while on bail shall meet the Investigating Officer once in a week until further orders. She shall appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date. 6.
