The son of the petitioner is a student of Class-XII of Mazdia Rail Bazar High School, District: Nadia.

The school held a Test Examination for the students likely to appear in the Board examination 2024 but the son of the petitioner due to his poor attendance was not allowed to take up the said examination.

The petitioner is challenging the said decision of the school authority.

The Higher Secondary Examination for the year 2024 is already over, rendering the challenge infructuous, WPA 122 of 2024 is dismissed as such without any order as to costs.

However, the school authority shall take necessary steps to ensure that the son of the petitioner can sit for the Higher Secondary Examination, 2025, subject to improvement of his attendance in the school.
