Mr. Avijit Chakraborty ...for the petitioners Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that a representation made on 31st of December, 2020 by the petitioners before the Secretary, Tribal Welfare Department, Government of Tripura, being respondent no.1 in the instant application has not been considered by the respondent authority till date.

In spite of service nobody appears for the State of Tripura.

As the representation made by the petitioners is not considered by the Secretary, Tribal Welfare Department, I request the learned Secretary, Tribal Welfare Department to consider the representation of

the petitioners at an earliest preferably within a period of four months from date.

The respondent no.1 is also requested to grant an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and allow the petitioners to produce necessary documents at the time of hearing. The decision arrived at by the respondent authority must be communicated to the petitioners at an earliest.

Learned advocate on record of the petitioner is requested to serve a copy of the writ petition along with a copy of this order to the Secretary, Tribal Welfare Department, Government of Tripura.

In view of the above, the writ petition being W.P.A.106 of 2021 is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied.

Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
