Mr. Debajyoti Deb Mr. Supriya Mahajan ...for the petitioner Mr. Amajit De, Spl. PP ...for the CBI Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that he has approached this Court seeking anticipatory bail as he has received notice from the CBI.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the CBI submits that the petitioner has been made a witness in a case, which though started here, has been transferred to Delhi and trial is going on. It is RC Case no. RC0102020A0019 dated 21.09.2020. As the petitioner is not an accused in this case, the application for anticipatory bail is not maintainable.

In view of the above, the application for anticipatory bail is disposed of as infructuous.
