It is the grievance of the petitioners that respondent nos. 7 and 8 have raised a wall that obstructs the egress and ingress of the petitioners to their property at Makalhati, Uttarpara, P.S. Rabindranagar, Ward no.4, Kolkata - 700018.

It appears that the petitioners have made a representation before the Chairman, Maheshtala Municipal Corporation for removal of the alleged unauthorised construction.

The petitioners submit that till date, the said representation has not yet been considered.

In the light of the aforesaid facts, I dispose of the writ petition with a direction upon the Chairman, Maheshtala Municipal Corporation to consider the

representation dated November 16, 2022 appearing at page 55 of the writ petition in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order.

If necessary, the Chairman, Maheshtala Municipal Corporation shall hear all the concerned parties.

Accordingly, WPA 122 of 2023 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
