Mr. Bidyut Kumar Halder Mr. Indranil Halder Ms. Neha Singh ... for the petitioner Mr. Debanjan Mukherjee Ms. Oindrila Ghosal ... for the CESC The grievance of the petitioner is directed against wrongful disconnection of electricity at the premises of the petitioner.

On behalf of CESC Ltd., it is submitted that there are outstanding dues which the petitioner has not paid till date.

In response, on behalf of the petitioner, it is submitted that they are ready and willing to pay all outstanding dues including any other statutory dues in respect of the above connection.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, WPA 1057 of 2026 stands disposed of by directing the petitioner to make necessary payment of all outstanding electricity dues aggregating to Rs.13,682/- and any other re-connection charges or other statutory charges in two equal installments on 5 February 2026 and 5 March 2026 respectively.

It is clarified that upon payment of the first instalment, the respondent authorities will forthwith restore electricity connection at the subject premises after compliance with all formalities. In default of any instalment the respondent CESC Ltd. will be at liberty to disconnect the electricity connection without recourse to Court.
