The writ petitioner is aggrieved that ACJM, Kakdwip has not disposed of his application for addition of Sections in FIR No. 155 of 2020 dated 2nd December, 2020. G. R. Case No. 1652 of 2020 pending before the ACJM, Kakdwip.

In those circumstances, the ACJM, Kakdwip shall dispose of the petitioner's application for addition of Sections in the FIR as expeditiously as possible. If, however, charge sheet has already been filed by the police, the petitioner's application shall become infructuous and he may avail remedies under Section 173(8) of the Cr. P. C. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
