The petitioner complains of police inaction.

The petitioner claims to be in possession of three plots of land. In support of such contention, the petitioner relies upon a certificate issued by the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer (BL & LRO) dated May 17, 2020. The petitioner claims that the private respondents are preventing the petitioner from constructing any building on the plots possessed by the petitioner. None appears for the respondents.

It appears from the writ petition that, the petitioner is the son of Keshab Chandra Sasmal. There are two other brothers of the petitioner who are the respondent nos.5 and 6. The petitioner is not claiming that the three plots in respect of which the petitioner claims to be in possession of, was purchased by the petitioner. On a query from the Court as to whether the

petitioner is in possession of the plots through his father of the petitioner, the answer is in the affirmative. In such circumstances, it appears that, there are title disputes between the private parties with regard to an immovable property. It would be appropriate to permit the petitioner to resolve such disputes with regard to the title of the property before the appropriate forum. No interference is called for by a Writ Court.

WPA No.136 of 2021 is, therefore, disposed of without any order as to costs.
