The father of the petitioner was an approved Assistant Teacher of Dakshin Narikelda Deshbandhu Vidyalay, Nandakumar, Dist:

Purba Medinipur, on his death, his widow, the mother of the petitioner started receiving the family pension.

The petitioner, after the death of her mother, being the unmarried daughter of the deceased teacher applied for family pension.

This Court by the order dated December 22, 2022 had directed the petitioner to file a formal application before the school authority for the said relief.

Mr. Mitra, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that his client has submitted such application.

The District Inspector of Schools (S.E), Purba Medinipur, the respondent 4 herein, on

receipt of such application, shall consider the same in accordance with law and in the event the petitioner is found eligible for such family pension, shall take forward steps expeditiously. W.P.A. 134 of 2022 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
