Mr. Allen Felix ... for the petitioner Mr. Debjit Mukherjee ... for the WBSEDCL This is an application seeking a fresh electricity connection in respect of a submersible pump belonging to the petitioner.

On behalf of respondent-WBSEDCL, it is submitted that no permanent application for an electricity connection has been made to them in accordance with law.

In view of the above, WPA 293 of 2026 stands disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to make an application for a permanent electricity connection for the submersible pump belonging to the petitioner.

If such application is made within two weeks from date, the same should be considered in accordance with law within four weeks thereafter. It is made clear that the petitioner shall comply with all necessary prescribed formalities in making an application for a permanent electricity connection.
