Status report filed by the State, be kept with the records.

Learned Advocate for the defacto complainant says that in spite of best efforts, he could not obtain instructions from the defacto complainant.

The petitioner says that he is in custody for 233 days. He has been falsely implicated. There is no certainty as to when the trial will conclude. He prays for bail. 4.

Opposing the prayer for bail, learned State Advocate and learned Advocate for the defacto complainant draw our attention to the statement of the victim girl recorded under Section 183 B.N.S.S. 2023. She clearly implicates this petitioner and says that she was raped by the petitioner.

We further see that 11 out of 28 charge sheet named witnesses have already been examined by the prosecution. The prosecution wants to examine 11 more witnesses. The status report indicates that the trial is likely to conclude within two and a half months. 6.

In view of the prima facie incriminating material against the petitioner and seeing that the trial is progressing at a highly satisfactory pace, we are not inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer for bail, at this stage. 7.

The prayer for bail is rejected.

CRM (DB) 102 of 2025 is dismissed.
