The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was nominated as the President of the Managing Committee of the concerned school on 25th May, 2015. He has been falsely implicated and he was not the President during the period when certain amounts were allegedly withdrawn from the school account.

The learned advocate appearing for the State has drawn our attention to the transactions pertaining to the period from 23rd July, 2019 to 29th January, 2020 wherefrom it appears that thrice different amounts were withdrawn by cheques in which the petitioner had been a signatory.

Having heard the learned advocates and considering the materials in the case diary, the nature of allegations and the extent of complicity of the petitioner in the alleged offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail in favour of the petitioner. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail being CRM No.110 of 2021 is rejected.
