Report submitted by the State is kept with the record. Report reflects that the victim girl on her own has returned with her parents which has been found to be authentic by the police authorities on preliminary enquiry.

The victim girl, pursuant to direction on 27.12.2024 by the Additional District Magistrate, was kept at a shelter home and rehabilitation for further order.

Subsequently, the victim girl advanced a letter with an application to go back with her mother. The release order according to the report is still awaited.

In view of the authorities proceeding in consonance with the provisions of law, if the

petitioner has grievance which can be by way of other statutory remedies, the same be invoked before the jurisdictional criminal court having authority to entertain disputes of the concerned police station namely, Bishnupur Police Station.

In view of the report submitted, no interference is called for from this court as the authorities responsible are already having the custody of the victim girl and it would be the discretion of the victim girl to stay with whom she feels fit and proper, provided she is major.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 232 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
