The learned senior counsel representing the West Bengal Electricity Regulatory Commission, in his usual fairness, submits that a direction may be passed upon the respondent to determine the tariff in accordance with law. In view of the above, the instant writ petition stands disposed of by directing the respondent authority to determine the retail tariff for the periods 2017-2018, 20182019 and 2019-2020 strictly in accordance with law. The writ petition stands disposed of.
