Mr. Bhagbat Chowdhury ....for the petitioner The Amta Police Station, Howrah Rural District has filed a report before this Court dated 08.02.2023, which is kept with the record.

It is submitted that one of the accused Sk Salauddin is in judicial custody. Anticipatory bail application of the other accused persons, namely, Sk. Kajed, Anowara Begum and Sk. Saidul have been rejected. Warrant of arrest has been applied for before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Uluberia, Howrah on February 3, 2023. It is submitted by the Inspector-in-Charge, Amta Police Station that the warrant could not be applied earlier due to bereavement in the house of the I.C.

It is expected that urgent and immediate steps are taken to obtain warrant of arrest. Proclamation and attachment shall be applied for immediately, if warrants cannot be executed.

The I.C., Amta Police Station shall also raid any premises that may be indicated by the petitioner

or his learned Advocate to trace out the absconding accused persons.

It is expected that the report in the final form shall be filed within a month from date.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
