For the State The petitioner apprehends that, due to change of political affiliation of the petitioner in recent times, the ruling party, through the police, have been initiating several false cases against the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner argues that the petitioner has only come to know about one of such cases, the F.I.R pertaining to which dated November 09, 2020 has been annexed to the writ petition appearing at page 22.

Learned counsel appearing for the State respondents files a report which indicates that only the case of which the petitioner is aware has been initiated against the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already obtained anticipatory bail in respect of the said case. Since it is submitted on behalf of the State respondents that no other case is pending at present against the petitioner, there is no scope of such apprehension on the part of the petitioner of a political vengeance being unleased against the petitioner, at least at the present

juncture.

Accordingly, WPA 164 of 2021 is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach this court in the event any future action of the authorities creates reasonable apprehension of a political vengeance in the mind of the petitioner. It is further clarified that the merits of the allegations and counter allegations relating to the petitioner have not been gone into in the present writ petition.

There will be no order as to costs.
