Mr. Mandal, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the criminal proceedings and he is in custody for 75 days. Mr. Bardhan, learned advocate appearing for the State respondent submits that investigation is in progress and there was a recovery of more than 20 kgs of contraband substance from the petitioner.

Having heard the learned advocates and upon considering the materials in the case diary, the gravity of the offence and the stage of investigation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the application for bail being CRM No.120 of 2021 is, thus, rejected.
