Public Prosecutor Mr. Dipankar Paramanick ... ... for the State It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is in custody for about 256 days. It is further submitted petitioner has not been put up for Test Identification parade.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposes the prayer for bail and submits the case involves bank dacoity. Cash stolen from the bank was recovered from the petitioner. His finger prints were found at the place of occurrence.

We have considered the materials on record. Stolen cash was recovered from the petitioner soon after the incident. Arms and ammunitions were also recovered. Finger prints at the place of occurrence matched with that of the petitioner. There is CCTV footage of the incident. In view of the aforesaid facts and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. The application for bail is thus rejected.
