The State of West Bengal preferred an appeal against the said order. By the judgment and order dated January 6, 2021, the Hon'ble Appeal Court set aside the order and remanded the matter for being heard afresh by the single bench.

In that view of the matter, the contempt application cannot proceed.

Rule is discharged.

WPCRC 43 of 2020 is disposed of.
