Mr. Bandopadhyay, learned Junior Standing Counsel files a copy of the communication dated January 09, 2024 addressed to him by the Inspectorin-Charge, Jhalda Police Station, let it be kept with the record. It appears from the said communication that the police assistance can be made available if the election is conducted on January 21, 2024. The Teacher-in-Charge of the said school is therefore directed to fix January 21, 2024 as the date for the election of the Managing Committee of the school for the guardian candidates.

The Inspector-in-Charge of Jhalda Police Station is directed to deploy sufficient police force at the venue of the said election to maintain peace and tranquility there at the time of the said election process. W.P.A. 188 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
