Two several affidavits of service filed in Court today are retained with the record. However, the petitioner is unable to demonstrate service on all the respondents. Considering the fact that the petitioner only seeks enforcement of an order of demolition, which was passed in furtherance to a direction passed by this Court, the matter is taken up for consideration.

The instant writ petition has been filed, inter alia, praying for a direction upon the respondent nos. 4 and 5 to enforce and implement the demolition order passed on 22nd June 2023 by the Howrah Municipal Corporation.

Mr. Banerjee, learned advocate appearing for the Howrah Municipal Corporation by placing before this Court a communication dated 6th November 2025 submits that steps have already been taken to execute the demolition order in

terms of the order passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court on 6th September 2022 in WPA no. 11633 of 2022.

Considering the fact that this Court had already directed the Howrah Municipal Corporation to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation and in furtherance thereto the demolition order dated 22nd June 2023 had been passed, and the same is yet to be executed, I direct the municipal authorities to ensure compliance of the demolition order subject to right, if any, of the private respondents to challenge the same.
