1. Parties are represented through their respective learned advocates.

2. On behalf of the writ petitioner an exception is filed against the report of the alleged Contemnor No.3 and the same is taken on record.

3. On behalf of the alleged contemnors a report dated 8th February, 2026, as submitted by D.I. of Schools (S.E.), North 24 Parganas, is also filed and the same is taken on record.

4. It is submitted at the Bar that challenging the judgment and order dated 11th March, 2025, as passed by this Court in WPA 3871 of 1978, the

respondents have preferred an appeal being MAT 2258 of 2025, which is pending before a Division Bench of this Hon'ble Court for adjudication. An accommodation has been prayed for by the parties on such score.

5. Prayer for adjournment is considered and allowed.

6. Let this matter be listed in the week commencing from June 8, 2026, under the same heading.
