1. It appears that the Panchayat authorities have already taken steps and an order was passed on December 1, 2025. The matter has been sent to the Sub-Divisional Officer for necessary action under Section 23(5) of the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973. The Panchayat authorities were of the specific view that the subject construction was required to be demolished.

2. The order has been complied with.

3. Accordingly, the contempt application is disposed of.

4. The contempt proceeding is dropped.

5. The reasoned order is kept with the record.

6. The applicant will be at liberty to proceed before the Sub-Divisional Officer, in accordance with law. (Shampa Sarkar, J.)
