Arnab Sarkar And ORS,. v. State Of West Bengal And ORS.
14.01.2022.
d.p.
In The High Court At Calcutta Constitutional Writ Jurisdiction Appellate Side W.P.A 179 of 2022 (Via Video Conference) Arnab Sarkar & Ors.
-versus The State of West Bengal & Ors.
Mr. Ranjan Kumar Kali.
...For the Petitioners.
Mr. Supriyo Chattopadhyay, Ms. Tapati Samanta.
...For the State.
The petitioners aspire to be appointed as primary school teachers.
They participated in the TET examination 2014 and were unsuccessful in the same. According to the petitioners, there were six wrong questions in the question paper which the petitioners claim to have attempted and submit that they are entitled to get six more marks.
The learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners filed an earlier writ petition before this Court claiming six marks for the wrong questions set in the TET 2014 examination. The said writ petition is allegedly pending till date. The averments made in the writ petition does not mention about either the writ petition number or any order that has been passed in their favour in the allegedly pending writ petition.
The petitioners claim that they made representation before the West Bengal Board of Primary Education highlighting their grievances. Copy of the said representation is also not annexed to the present writ petition.
The averments made in the writ petition are absolutely vague. The writ petition appears to be totally misconceived. No relief can be granted in favour of the petitioners in the present writ petition.
The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
