He alleges that a pole has been installed within his premises to effect the connection. It appears from the records that the District Magistrate and Collector, Howrah, directed the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Panchla, Howrah, to conduct a survey in order to ascertain the veracity of the petitioner's allegations. Pursuant to such direction, a survey was carried out, and it was found that no electric pole had been installed within the premises of the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner contends that the survey in question was not conducted by the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Panchla. I find such a contention to be without merit. The order dated July 24, 2024, issued by the District Magistrate and

Collector, Howrah, unequivocally records that a joint inspection was conducted by the Station Manager of the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited and the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Panchla. In view of the above, WPA 336 of 2025 stands dismissed.
