Petitioner is in custody for 714 days. He renews his prayer for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Initially investigation was conducted in an indifferent manner. Pursuant to an order of this Court, specialised agency conducted investigation and co-accused was arrested.

Materials on record including the statement of the victim show involvement of the petitioner in trafficking the minor victim for sexual exploitation.

In view of the gravity of the offence and the prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
