Mr. Mahadeb Sarkar Mr. Debasish Das ..for the Petitioner Mr. Pantu Deb Roy Mr. Jaladhi Das ...for the State Pursuant to liberty granted by a coordinate Bench of this Court by an order passed on February 23, 2022 in WPA No. 2220 of 2022, the petitioner applied for extension/modification of the route in respect of which he was granted permanent stage carriage permit. The petitioner has deposited requisite fees for the same. The application is yet to be considered. The petitioner prays for direction upon the authority to consider the application at the earliest.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the 2nd respondent be directed to consider the application in accordance with law.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the application filed by the petitioner within four seeks from the date of communication of this order upon affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all concerned including the petitioner, in accordance with law.

With the above observations and directions the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
