And In Re : Sunefa Bibi ...... petitioners Mr. Asim Kumar Chakraborty ....for the petitioners Mr. Saibal Bapuli Mr. Imran Ali Ms. Debjani Sahu ....for the State The petitioner, apparently, was involved in assaulting the de-facto complainant in the abdomen by reason of which, the de-facto complainant suffered an abortion.

In such circumstances, considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 38 of 2023 is dismissed.
